Hyundai Aura Summary
Hyundai Aura has been introduced with BS6 compliant petrol and diesel engine options in India. The vehicle is available in 12 variants and six colors across three engine options and two gearbox options. The Aura design is based on the Grand i10 Nios hatchback car.
Exterior
The Aura gets the chrome grille as other cars in Hyundai as family face. Also it gets LED DRLs with projectors for the headlamps and the fog lamps. The Aura gets alloy wheels with diamond cut and have a sharp design that goes very well with the other elements of the car. At the rear of car gets LED tail lamps and chrome garnish on the lid of the boot door and it looks very well.
Interior
The Hyundai Aura gets brown and black cabin with elements quite similar to the Nios hatchback. The highlight of the cabin is of course the 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and multiple connectivity options. In addition, you get climate control as well as height adjustment for the driver’s seat. Also it gets wireless charging and cruise control.
Engine
The Aura is available with three BS6 compliant engines - 1.2-litre petrol engine (83PS/114Nm) and 1.2-litre diesel (75PS/190Nm) from the Grand i10 Nios, and a 1-litre turbo-petrol (100PS/172Nm) from the Venue and It is the first turbocharged petrol engine in the compact sedan segment. The first two are comes with a 5-speed MT and AMT, the turbo-petrol gets only to a 5-speed MT. The 1.2-litre petrol engine is also available with a factory-fitted CNG kit (only in the ‘S’ variant).
Safety
Standard safety features include dual front airbags, ISOFIX child seat anchorages, and rear parking sensors.
Rivals
It rivals the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Honda Amaze, and Tata Tigor.
