Maruti Suzuki S-Presso

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is 4 seater hatchback car and available in six variants and six colour options in India. The S-Presso is based on the Maruti Suzuki's Heartec platform which is strengthened by an impact absorbing structure. At the time of launch, the company claimed that the S-Presso offers the best-in-class turning radius of 4.5-metres. Moreover, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the S-Presso in India as a mini SUV.

Exterior

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is real mini SUV. Maruti Suzuki claim it is a SUV because its SUV like characteristics with high height, upright stance, good ground clearance and bold design. The some of look appears to be inspired by the Vitara Brezza, as it gets squared headlights and slim grille with chrome inserts it looks very good. The vehicle also features dual tone bumper for an SUV stance. The rear section gets rectangular tail lamps and a dual-tone bumper with integrated reflectors.

Interior

The whole cabin has been featured in black with orange inserts on the dashboard and side AC vents. There is red pattern stitching on the seats which looks good. only issue is that it get non-adjustable headrests both in the front as well in the back. The car gets instrument cluster in center mounted which feel very odd(for me), The car also gets touchscreen system with Maruti Smart Play studio, dual front airbags, USB and 12-volt switch, steering mounted controls.

Engine

The Maruti Suzuki S-Presso is powered by a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine producing 67bhp power with 90Nm torque. This engine is available with a five-speed manual or a five-speed AGS transmission. The company claims that the Standard variants and the LXi variants return a fuel efficiency in petrol with 21.4kmpl, while the VXi and the VXi+ variants in both manual and AGS version return a fuel efficiency figure of 21.7kmpl. The car is available in CNG and petrol. S-Presso will return you 31.2 km/kg in CNG.

Maruti Suzuki S-Presso price starts from ₹ 3.77 Lakh and goes upto ₹ 5.36 Lakh. The price of Petrol version for S-Presso ranges between ₹ 3.77 Lakh - ₹ 5.05 Lakh and the price of CNG version for S-Presso ranges between ₹ 5.07 Lakh - ₹ 5.36 Lakh.
